Timothy Henderson Memorial Scholarship – $500

Presented by The Northwest Territorial Pipe Band

This scholarship honours the memory of Timothy Henderson, a valued member of our pipe band
and a former student of St. Patrick’s High School. It is awarded to a graduating student who has
demonstrated a meaningful commitment to music during their time at the school.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be a graduating student of St. Patrick’s High School
• Have demonstrated consistent involvement in music (school or community-based)
• Be planning to pursue post-secondary education (preference may be given to those continuing in
  music studies, though this is not required)
• Show dedication, positive attitude, and contribution to the school or local music community

Application Requirements

Interested students are asked to submit a short paragraph (approximately 150–250 words)
addressing the following:

• Your involvement in music and what it has meant to you
• How you plan to continue music (formally or informally) in the future
• How music has shaped your personal growth, community involvement, or goals
  (Optional: A brief reference from a teacher or music instructor may be included.)

Selection Process

The recipient will be chosen based on their commitment to music, sincerity of their application, and
alignment with the spirit of this award.
